Steve McPherson presents an exhibition with Thanet at its heart. Steve has been collecting, documenting and using plastic objects from the coast of Thanet, and using them within his artwork for 20 years. An Undesirable Archive presents these pieces of work using the materials collected along the coast.
Undesirable Archive has been taken from Steve’s environmental photographic work which will also be on display during the exhibition. Wall hung pieces and sculptural objects will also be on display, as well a chance to view a short documentary ‘The Lost Song’, which presents the process and inspirations behind McPherson’s practise.
