January 1987, aged 19, with 70 rolls of film in his rucksack, Mark set off for India. The three months he spent there was a life changing experience – the discovery of a passion for photography through the cacophony of sights, sounds and smells of India, Nepal, Bangladesh and, later, Thailand, Laos, Philippines and Burma.
