Inspired by the work of neuroscientist Faraneh Vargha-Khadem into children with developmental amnesia, Jasleen Kaur’s installation examines how our memories define who we are as individuals.

Associated events accompany the exhibition:
Kaur’s film ‘Balti, Unmeasured Measurements’ about Langar, the Sikh practice of serving a free meal at temples, will be screened on a loop whilst visitors can experience Langar themselves - with free Indian food served to all.
